Cambodia Care Mission

Misi Prihatin Kemboja is a humanitarian mission that has its start in 2012 and is still ongoing until now. With a frequency of 4 missions a year, Al-I’tisam will go to either Kampong Cham or Kampong Thom in Cambodia. When you hear about Cambodia, the magnificent temple of Angkor Wat will probably come into your mind. But did you know that in Kampong Cham and several others, a majority of the people live in poverty and is lacking a lot of things as if it’s the 1950s. There is a daily ration of electricity, no proper clean water supply, no drainage system, no proper road and what’s sadder, the people did not have the education and heath care that they need. So far, Al-I’tisam has gone to 11 missions since 2012 with each mission has its own objectives and aims. On each visit, we will be joined by students and volunteers from various faculties and clubs, therefore, the activities for each visit will differ according to the expertise of the volunteers who joined us. Not only that, the purpose of each visit is also to observe and follow up projects that have been implemented before to ensure it goes according to plan.
